Responsible Use

Public content only

SaveFetch is built for content its creator chose to publish publicly — public Stories, Spotlight videos and public profile media. It cannot access private snaps or friends-only content, and attempting to obtain someone's private media through any means is not something we support.

Respect the creator

• Saving a video for personal viewing is not permission to republish it.
• Credit creators when you share their work, and remove it if they ask you to.
• Do not monetise, re-upload or claim someone else's content as your own.
• Never strip context in a way that misrepresents what someone said or did.

Respect privacy

Public does not mean consequence-free. People appear in videos without expecting them to circulate elsewhere. Do not use saved media to track, expose, harass or embarrass anyone, and think twice before saving content that features identifiable people who are not the poster.

Do not use SaveFetch for

• Harassment, stalking, doxxing or intimidation.
• Content involving minors in any sexualised or exploitative context.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, under any circumstances.
• Building datasets, mirrors or bulk archives of other people's media.
• Automated or high-volume scraping that degrades the service for others.

Local law is your responsibility

Copyright, privacy and recording law vary widely between countries. A download that is lawful in one place may not be in another. You are responsible for knowing and following the rules that apply where you are.

Reporting misuse

If you believe SaveFetch has been used against you — for example to circulate your content or media featuring you — email savefetch.app@gmail.com. Share links can be removed, and the Copyright / DMCA page covers formal notices.
